All our Haitian Metal Art pieces are versatile, suitable for display inside or outdoors. Upon shipment, these sculptures are coated with a clear enamel finish, preserving their stunning appearance. To keep them looking their best, we recommend applying an additional coat of clear enamel approximately every eighteen months. We specifically use Ace Clear Enamel spray from our local hardware store for this purpose.

Keep in mind that outdoor conditions will gradually wear away the enamel coating. However, some people appreciate the natural process of aging, resulting in a rustic patina. If you prefer to maintain the sculpture's original look, simply give it a light spray of clear enamel on both the front and back.

These sculptures are crafted from heavy-gauge steel, ensuring they won't disintegrate over time. In the event that rust appears or if you forget to apply the enamel, there's no need to panic! Lightly sand any rusted areas, and then spray the affected sections front and back with clear enamel to rejuvenate your piece. You'll be good to go for another year!
